We at IIT Patna are thrilled to announce that all seats for the July 2025 (Autumn 2025) session are filled. As a result, all registrations that have not paid their admission fees or met the eligibility criteria are automatically deferred for the December/ January 26 (Spring 2026) Winter Session, effective from 9th August 2025.

Quick answers to common questions related to Moodle

1. What is Moodle?
Moodle is an online Learning Management System (LMS) used to access course content, submit assignments, take quizzes, and interact with teachers.
2. How do I log in to Moodle?
Go to https://cetpgex.iitp.ac.in/moodle/ and log in using your student credentials. Refer to the login SOP if needed. Credentials will be shared on your registered email ID in the application form.
3. I forgot my Moodle password. What should I do?
Use the "Forgot password?" link on the login page. If you don’t receive the reset email, contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
4. I can't see my course on Moodle. What should I do?
First, go to the “My Courses” section after logging in. If it’s not listed, confirm with your instructor or Moodle support.
5. How do I submit an assignment on Moodle?
Open your course, click on the assignment, select “Add submission,” upload your file, then “Save changes” or “Submit assignment.”
6. How do I attempt a quiz on Moodle?
Open your course, click the quiz, then click “Attempt quiz now.” Answer the questions and submit before the time expires.
7. Can I access Moodle from my phone?
Yes, through your mobile browser. Use your institution’s Moodle URL to log in.
8. What file types can I upload in assignments?
Moodle supports PDF formats. Check the assignment instructions for specific requirements.
