1 What is Moodle and what can I do on it? −
Moodle is an online Learning Management System (LMS). You can access course materials and recorded lectures, submit assignments, attempt quizzes, view your grades, and message your instructors — all from one place, on any device.
2 How do I log in for the first time? +
Go to cetpgex.iitp.ac.in/moodle/ and use the credentials emailed to your registered address. Download the Login SOP PDF for a detailed walkthrough with screenshots.
3 I forgot my password. How do I reset it? +
On the login page, click "Forgot password?" and enter your username or registered email. A reset link will be sent to you. If it doesn’t arrive within 5 minutes, check your spam folder or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
4 I can’t see my enrolled course. What should I do? +
After logging in, go to My Courses in the top navigation. If your course isn’t listed, you may not have been enrolled yet — email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with your student ID and course name.
5 How do I submit an assignment? +
Open your course → click the assignment → click "Add submission" → upload your file (PDF preferred) → click "Save changes" then "Submit assignment." Always check the deadline before submitting — late submissions may not be accepted.
6 How do I attempt a quiz? +
Open your course → click the quiz → read the instructions → click "Attempt quiz now." A timer will count down. Answer all questions and submit before it expires. Tip: Use a stable Wi-Fi connection — a dropped connection mid-quiz can cost you your attempt.
7 Can I use Moodle on my phone or tablet? +
Yes. Open any browser on your phone and visit cetpgex.iitp.ac.in/moodle/. The portal is mobile-responsive. For quizzes and exams, a laptop or desktop is recommended.
8 What file formats are accepted for assignments? +
PDF is the standard accepted format. Some assignments may allow Word documents or images — always read the assignment instructions before uploading. Keep file size under 10 MB.
